California can’t seem to get her act together when it comes to the weather.
You’re hot and you’re cold, you’re yes and you’re no.
One day, you’re shivering outside your car, jogging to create heat and cursing your fingers for not retrieving your keys from your bag fast enough, and the next, you’re slathering aloe vera on your forearms, wondering: who the heck gets sunburned on their forearms?
Today, the struggle was real. However, I fought through the exhaustion, caffeine shakes, and vigorous ADHD to produce for you—for YOU, dear friend— a review of some pretty awesome makeup products, all things considered.

I’m a rather small (tiny) human being.
Shifting into “adulthood,” I’ve been blessed with the special challenge of finding clothes that fit me. Clothes that aren’t sporting the latest Disney Princess, or flowers on the backside, or a bejeweled hemline.
The struggle is real.
Because of this, I flourished in the land of thrift stores, where clothes are cheap enough to destroy tailor to my fit and my liking. But, there are some times I rather just wave a magic wand over a dress and have it fit.

My dress is black, so are my shoes. I crumple the tissue in my lap. So far, I haven’t needed it. So far, I’m keeping together.
I stare at the pew in front of me. I burn letters into it with my eyes. What would I spell?
It would start with an S——No. I promised myself I wouldn’t get emotional. I need to stay strong.
“And now,” the reverend says. He collects his notes in one swift, habitual, gather-and-tap motion. He barely makes a sound. “We will hear from the deceased’s close friends and family.” His eyes fall on mine. He nods, my cue to stand.
I do. The empty clop of my heels against wood floor echoes through the church. Behind the podium, I clear my throat. My notes tremble in my hands. “My Samsung Galaxy S4 was a good phone,” I begin.

Oh, the good ol’ days.
A girly-er vlog today. However, equally as entertaining!

I used a Garnier box dye on my hair and colored my whole head for the first time. It was an experience. I include my very first, unscripted, natural reaction in this vlog.
Disclaimer: Please don’t let the reaction scare you. It really isn’t that bad.
I, like many other girls, have a problem. I admit to it the same way I’ll admit to liking not cleaning my room and drinking coffee.
I like makeup. I enjoy makeup. I currently am wearing makeup.
A lot of my money is invested in this hobby.
Recently, I found myself in the makeup isle at Target. Total coincidence. Very, clip-clop-clip-clop GASP! ‘Oh golly, however did I end up here?’
Then I wander the isles with my broke self, poking at the devil’s tummy to tempt me with something good.
NYX tried to allure me into a $7 eyeliner. And then my eyes fell on the Maybelline display. In all it’s pink chrome glory.
Eleanor and Park is a teenage love story about two people from very different worlds.
I have one thing to say.
The feels are real.
