Words That Make Up A Christmas Song | VLOGMAS #7

I can’t upload another video about doing nothing. – The thought that started it all.

They say necessity is the mother of invention. Stress of vlogmas is the father of forced creativity.

I really enjoyed making today’s video.

[VIDEO] Blues Song From A Dog Rejected

Last week, I posted “Blues Song From A Dog Rejected,” promising that if enough people requested it, I would turn this silly little poem into a music video.

You asked. Hence, I put on a ridiculous performance, and deliver.

That’s showbiz.

Impromptu Duets | VLOGMAS #2

‘Tis a slow day in the Vlogmas world. Not a creature was stirring. Not even a mouse.

So I sat down at the ivories and resurrected an old song my mom and I would sing almost every Christmas. My mom hurt her voice about a year ago, which makes our duet that much more special.

(Also, if you’re still wondering, no, I never went to that yard sale.)

Blues Song From A Dog Rejected

While camping in our motorhome over Thanksgiving week, our dog Kobe and my dad had an exchange.

An exchange that I could only correctly portray—in song.

Christmas Caroling | Vlogmas 19

Vlogmas 19

I know you shouldn’t begin a post or a vlog with an apology.

I hardly ever do.

But, considering I’m uploading this video with the mindset, I need to post SOMETHING. . . No. I’m not willing to spend any more time re-editing that.

I’m sorry.

Ezekiel’s Christmas Concert | Vlogmas 11

Christmas concert vlogmas 11

I hope you are feeling musical this evening!

My little brother was in the college band so we enjoyed a night out, full of music and singing.

This video gets me in the Christmas spirits.

I Sing “My Wants Been Changed”

I Sing %22My Wants Been Changed%22

This past Sunday, I had the opportunity to sing a solo at church! I think the last time I’ve sang was with my family back in April.

I sing in the church choir every Sunday, and while that does jolt my nerves every now and then, it’s nothing like how I felt in the half hour, leading up to my great debut.

I hardly spoke. That says something, if you’ve been around me at all—past eleven in the morning.

Koontz Family Sings!

Koontz Family Sings!

You all caught a glimpse of our singing in my A Sunday In My Life post.

However, that is a mixed ensemble me and my parents are in. What you didn’t know was that there’s another member in our family–besides my older brother who is off to sea– who had yet to make his debut on the stage.

Before I get into that, a little history lesson.

BLOGMAS Day #14 — Broken Forks & Candlelight

One week and four days until Christmas!! DSC00453

But who’s counting. .

This morning, I had Sunday School, choir, and church service. Then we hurried home to another crock pot lunch. (You would think Crock Pot was sponsoring me.)

BLOGMAS Day #13 — I Play The Keys & Have A Nice Chat

Today was everything Christmas. A true Blogmas post!

Oh yes. I pat myself on the back.

By the way, we almost got yelled at for trying on these hats at Walmart. I was in the middle of a “The picture is forever, people staring is but a moment” speech, when an employee came by to tell us something. My mom quickly piped up, saying that we couldn’t find any hats in size large and could he help us?

She’s very smooth.
