Happy Thanksgiving, friends!
Due to my current location (and horrible wifi) I won’t be able to upload blog posts this week.
Yes. This is annoying. I’ve gone through all five stages of grief:
Denial. Maybe I’m on the wrong wifi? There’s like fifty… Yeah. For sure I’m on the wrong one.
Anger. I CURSE THEE!! YOU USELESS, SELFISH…
Bargaining. I will trade you my little brother for one hour of connection. Just one hour. Agreed?
Depression. This wifi, the universe, everyone hates me…
And Acceptance, which brings me to this blog post.
I will be sticking older, popular posts to my homepage every day until I can upload new content.
This will be kinda cool, since some of you may have never read these.
So, until we meet again, dear friends, Happy Thanksgiving!

Thanksgiving is exactly one week away. I suggest we all begin dieting now so we won’t feel guilty after eating the entire pumpkin pie and blaming it on the dog.
Don’t lie. You would stoop to such measures if it was a really good pumpkin pie.
All families are different. Traditionally, siblings and uncles and cousins and parents take turns around the dinner table, smiling warmly and sharing what they’re most thankful for. So, if you’re stressing (or can’t think of anything creative enough) to say on your turn, I’ve got you covered.

I know what some of you are thinking.
Dread. Confusion. Crazy thoughts like, we haven’t even celebrated Thanksgiving yet.
Well, I need you to take all your weird holiday logic and bad vibes and stick them in your pocket BECAUSE CHRISTMAS IS AWESOME AND EVERYBODY LOVES A GOOD CHRISTMAS MOVIE.
Am I right, or am I right?! Okay. Let’s get to the list.

October lovers will be pleased to know that I am extending the costumes, pumpkins, and horror festivities for one more week here on my blog.
Even though there is already talk of Christmas… But hey. I’m a rebel. You’re welcome.
It’s been a while since I’ve written a casual lifestyle post. Our costume party has perfect timing, and I was so pleased. Everyone came, dressed to impress.

Oh Mother’s Day. . The day of obligatory flowers and boxes of chocolates.
Mother’s Day is that awkward holiday when you don’t know how to greet each other.
You, cheery: “Happy Mother’s Day!”
Man: “I’m not a mom. . ”
You, trying again: “Happy Mother’s Day!”
Woman: “I don’t have any children.” She proceeds to burst into tears in front of you.

Three years ago, I wrote a post on my very first blog called “Valentine Schmalentine”. I’m so incredibly in love (no pun intended) with this post that I want to share it again.
Instead of copying and pasting it, I’ll send you straight to the blog. Ahh the memories.
The funny thing is, to this day, my opinion hasn’t changed (though, I did spot typos. Hm.). And even though I’m single, I’ve always loved Valentines day. I guess I’m a romantic.
And hey, if you don’t have a Valentine, I’ll be your Valentine. Yup, even though I don’t know you. We’ll exchange rolls of sweet tarts that are taped to little cards that have cats printed on them. And the cards will read: “You’re my puuuurrrrfect Valentine,” with a HEART I drew personally. You’re never alone!
I hope the blog post makes you smile, or laugh, or, at the least, help you feel better on your Valentines day if things are going rough.
