Autumn Is {NOW}

September 22nd marked the first day of fall.

Fall. Autumn. The season of pumpkin spice and knitted throws. Unnecessary Target runs. Crisp air. Apple pie candles.

Basically, it’s when we lose our mother-loving MINDS over a season’s arrival (Christmas soon to follow).

What is it about fall? The season strikes and we must, WE MUST, consume something pumpkin. We must lower our AC and replace all home décor with something orange. We’re whisked into a frenzy, caught in the eye of the tornado, surrounded by swirling leaves and frothy spiced lattes. We’re floating. Our fir-trimmed UGGs hover above ground. Nothing else exists except fall.

Fall Inspiration 🍂

Hello Fall

In the autumn/wintertime, I fall in love.

With what? You may ask. Is it the crisp fall leaves? Pumpkin spice? The rich fall colors you stubbornly wear year-round?

I fall in love with Pinterest. Pinterest is the social media equivalent to that ex who’s all bad for you, a waste of time, but every now and then, they show you attention or give you an amazingly thoughtful gift, so you think maybe they do care, maybe we can make this work, and you’re never free from their spell.

8 Reasons To Be Excited For Fall. Humor. Funny. Lifestyle Blog

Spring. Summer. Fall. Winter.

Fall. Not Autumn. Fall. Who says Autumn? Is there somewhere in the world where it is spring, summer, autumn, winter? I’m truly curious.

Moving on.

DIY Pumpkin Decorations

2014-11-19 10.06.52

Pumpkins are awesome. Pumpkins remind me of pumpkin pie and pumpkin pie is delicious, so I have over-all good feelings toward the fat orange things.

And I like the color orange.

So here is a DIY of how to make your own cloth pumpkin decorations. The plus is these pumpkins never go bad! Besides, of course, the fact that pumpkins are awesome.

(And PS, #5 on my Fall Bucket List: done!)

My Fall Bucket List

2014-11-12 15.17.45

I’ve decided to do season bucket lists. Sometimes you get sick of waiting for things. Like a trip around the world or to be on the best seller list.

So I’m writing a bucket list I can accomplish right now. This month. There’s kind of a deadline to it, if you think about it.

I made a fancy collage thing for the tack board in my room, and it’s on now. I came up with nine things.

Fall Makes Me Think Of

Fall is my favorite. Actually, I’m already taking it back, winter has Christmas in it.. Fall and winter are my favorites. Fall colors are my favorite.

Now that we have that cleared up. .

Because fall is one of my favorites, I have collected a great store of memories that pop up during this season, memories that are weird.

Normal people talk about orange leaves, and pumpkin spice lattes, and sweater weather.

I’m a little different. These are things I think of when fall comes around, and what better day to tell you than October first! October is %100 fall.

We Are Here, We Are Here, We Are Here!

The title for this post is inspired by the Doctor Seuss story about the elephant holding a clover that he is SURE has a civilization living on it, but he’s the only one who hears them, until the entire town begins shouting in one voice, “we are here, we are here, we are here!”

I have deigned to writing this post on my cell phone. A phone, mind you, that doesn’t have any data left in it’s data plan, so I have to be connected to wifi in order to use the internet. Not exactly type on the go.

My computer is on strike. I don’t know what I did to deserve this, but it refuses. And if it does work, it suddenly forgets that it has wifi capabilities and keeps telling me to connect a broadband device.

Remember the post when I told you I’m not techy? I barely know what a broadband device is, besides it being the physical thing that gives out the Wi-Fi signal that we all connect to and steal internet from.

*sigh* I feel like I am shouting from a clover.. I am here. Anyone out there?
