And, being the thrifter that I am, it had to be a secondhand outfit.
New Years Eve is definitely the one day out of the year to go full-out GLAM. Even if you don’t usually wear a bright, bold lip or sparkles, or sequins, New Years Eve is the night to do it; the night to experiment, even.
No one will question your glitter catastrophe explosion on New Years Eve. So I say, go for it.
I’m wearing the one sparkly top I own; a top/skirt combo, dress-thing (I got this fashion-blogging thing down) from Ross.
Except, I bought it at the thrift store for $3.
But the original Ross tag was still on. So there.
For makeup, I did a bronze neutral eye and a classic red lip.

New Years Eve was lovely, it’s usually a quiet event for me but one that is spent with my family and my fiancé, so that’s all that I need for it to be a good one! 🙂
