February is coming to a close. For some reason, I had it in my head that February ended after Valentines day, so it’s felt like a long month to me.
Then I realize we’re almost into March, and I wonder where has the year gone?!
Last month, my favorites post was way too long. So you’ll be happy to know I’ve narrowed it down to four. (Also, stay tuned ’til the end if you’re interested in the Blog Book Club.)
Not so much a beauty product as it is skin care, my favorite is this La Fresh Eco-beauty Good Day. Day Moisturizer. It smells faintly of cucumbers and my skin seems to love it. I read somewhere that just because your skin is oily doesn’t mean it’s moisturized.
I’ve used this moisturizer before applying foundation and it has minimized patchiness in my makeup. My skin looks smoother than ever, and the irritation and redness seems to have smoothed out.
My old and trusty laptop is near retirement. Out of sentiment I have to include it in my favorites. The keys are worn down, the poor thing can’t last three minutes on it’s own battery, but it went with me across the United States and has been with me through thick and thin.
Thank you dear friend.
To replace this laptop, I want to buy a Macbook. It’s between the Macbook 13″ Air and the Macbook 13″ Pro Retina. If you have any reviews on either of these Macbooks (or the Macbook Pro as well), please let me know.
I want to support more people on my blog. So here are some favorite blog posts from some awesome bloggers this month (and I’m not just saying they’re awesome because they comment on my site. The truth is, how do I know you’re out there, dear awesome person, if you don’t make your presence known with a comment or a like?).
How To Survive Blogger Chats – By Megan at “Lazy Thoughts.” I found Megan’s blog last Christmas when my knowledge of the blogger community bursted, and I’ve been a fan of her site ever since.
Skiing And Bears In Mammoth Lakes – By Tegan at “Permanent Procrastination.” Tegan is currently on vacation touring the United States. She’s from Australia, so in her recent post, she talks about what it’s like for her to hear about huge bears wandering the streets.
It’s okay… // vol.3 – By Jess at “Writing In Red Lipstick.” Everything about her post “It’s okay…” I love. It’s simple and powerful, and I want to write an “It’s okay…” post myself. There’s really not much more to add.
I am so pleased that many of you are interested in the Blog Book Club. I think it will be a lot of fun. However, I am going to make an update.
A lot of you were excited to read An Abundance Of Katherines by John Green. I had originally said we’ll discuss this book quickly and move on to the next, but from this interest, I have decided that An Abundance Of Katherines will be our first official book.
Due date for this book (and the date the discussion post will be up) is Friday, March 20th. You’ll want to tweet out your discussion questions before then so you get the chance to be featured in the post (I think it will be fun to, for sure, feature the first and last people to tweet).
As stated, I want this to be promotional to your blog as well as a good time, so I will give all clever/thought-provoking/witty/philosophical discussion-question credit back to you. Don’t forget to use the hashtag #BekahsBooks!
That concludes my favorites of February. Do you have any favorites? Let me know, and thanks for reading!
Thanks for including me in your favourites – it means a heck of a lot! I don’t know if I’ll get a chance to re-read An Abundance of Katherine’s before the 20th, but I’ll definitely be around to join in with some discussion. I don’t really think I have any favourites for this month, though I have been getting more into scrapbooking which I’ve really enjoyed – so I guess that’s it!

You’re very welcome! Thanks for being a frequenter to my blog lately! Well that’s fine if you only participate in discussion. That’s the funnest part!
I’ve always admired scrapbooks. They look so cool!

I’ve had my Macbook Pro for over a year now, and it hasn’t given me any major problems. It did go blue on me once, but that was probably because I kept opening and shutting it in an attempt to walk and find Wifi at the same time. One tip: BUY A HARD DRIVE. If you get a “Passport” it will remind you to back it up every 10 days. My battery life has gotten slight lower, but it still lasts a good few hours (or more) without a cord.
Never had a Macbook Air, but I’ve heard they’re super light and good with battery. They’re probably more ideal if you plan to travel with it a lot.
Last tip: BUY A COVER. I don’t know how many times… well, you know.
