My Twentieth Birthday Wishlist

2015 Birthday Wishlist

In exactly one month and a day, I will be graduating out of the Teen Blogger hashtag and into my twenties. My TWENTIES!

I honestly only dreamed out my life until about eighteen, where I would have finally graduated from High school and left that horrible life of Math and History behind. Then I figured it would be pure bliss from then on. The world would be my oyster.

The world is still my oyster, and besides falling in love with blogging, I don’t have a set path for my life. But I’m figuring it out. I feel like I’m getting closer to what I want to do.

Anyways. All that to say, my birthday is coming up, so I started brainstorming what my answers would be to the inevitable question: what do you want for your birthday?

First, I won’t throw a tantrum if I get none of these things. (I am a mature adult now, after all.) And two of the items are crazy expensive anyways. That’s why I called this a wish list.

#1. Q&A: 5-Year Journal, $11.02I went straight to Barnes & Noble after the new year to buy this book, only to find it sold out. My mom mentioned I could probably find it cheaper on Amazon. She was right.

#2. BeautyBlender, $12.78. I’ve heard so much about Beauty Blenders. I really want to try one for myself now. I know there are different dupes, but they don’t ever compare to the real thing. I found this “Pure” white one on Amazon. Apparently some ladies were complaining about the pink one bleeding color, or even that the color leakage irritated their sensitive skin. If you have your own opinion either way, let me know.

#3. “Dessert is cheaper than therapy” Pajama Set, $12.90. Wearing cute things to bed is very much a girl thing and an idea I have become obsessed with lately. I’ve always worn basic work out clothes to bed. T-shirt and sweats/basketball shorts, but I think it’s time to actually wear pajamas – in sets. (There are even more cute sets, such as “Why Can’t Someone Look At Me The Way I Look At Chocolate” and “We Go Together Like Coffee And Donuts.” I pretty much want them all.)

#4. 365 Blog Topic Ideas: For The Lifestyle Blogger Who Has Nothing to Write About, $14.36. We all know why this book would come in handy to me.

#5. Macbook Air 13′, $949.00. This gift is obviously one of those I would like to receive a “donation” for, I do not expect anyone to buy a crazy expensive laptop for me. I love how portable this laptop is and how it holds charge for 12 HOURS. That’s insane to me. In reality, I hardly know much about laptops. But I’m one to get something stuck in my head. And I have it stuck that I want a Macbook Air. I believe if you save long enough, you can buy whatever you want.

#6. LORAC PRO Palette, $42.00. I’ve been trying to figure out that one expensive palette that I want to buy. Palettes seem to be the way to go. You have one, and done. No fishing around a messy drawer trying to find that perfect color that insists on being an individual and won’t join a palette team. The Lorac Pro Palette seems to be a slight combination of the Naked 1 and 2 Palettes. I need to study this in person but so far, this one is winning in my book.

And in general, I love Target, Bath & Body Works, Ulta/Saphora, and Victoria Secret gift cards. And candy. And coffee. And tea. And candles.

And thrift store gift certificates. Yes, they make those.

    1. That’s so cool! You know what I think would be awesome? If a whole group of people were to buy the five year journal and at the end of five years all get together and talk about the differences.
