Give me a second as I remember what in the world I did today. .

How sad is this that I have to take a moment and think. Think, think, think.

Today is Monday, which gives me that heart sinking feeling, because even though I try to ignore the cliche that Monday’s are the worst. Mondays are the worst. And I can’t even tell you why.

I’m a blind follower of the trends. Ugh.

I started this morning well, with a bowl of cereal first thing. Then I spent some time on Twitter trying to figure out when blogger chats are. I recently read an article that said “you need to be in blogger chats to grow your audience!!” So I obeyed.

I don’t know what happened, but somehow, I never started today’s hair blog post until a few minutes before 11am. At that point, I found a blogger chat that started at 11am and became engrossed in that.

It was my first blogger chat, and went fairly well, I think. I’m starting to make serious decisions about my blog, so it was good to hear other’s opinions and advice. I even got into some banter with a few other women bloggers and totally forgot the point of being there for the chat, but I might have made friends.

I have to admit, I was emotionally exhausted after the chat. I don’t understand Twitter. So I was refreshing my notifications and checking the blogger chat profile, and it was so much work, I must have been doing something wrong.

I found more cool bloggers nevertheless.

When the chat was done, I had just enough time to write today’s post before I ran off to work.

Nothing interesting to report at work, except that I officially put Christmas music on the iPod. It was me. They’re going to hate me in two weeks, but I couldn’t help it. Something made me do it.

I came home super hyper – probably from the caffeine – did an impressive elf dance in front of my brother, and finished decorating the tree. It’s always been my job to put the bows on.

We even put one on Kobe.

He looked cuter and less I’m-going-to-prey-on-you-and-your-family in person.
