I may just be in the writing mood. (It’s the coffee kicking in.) But I wanted to do a little shout-out to my followers. I know I’m just starting as a writer and blogger. I’ve been writing for years, but this is the first time I’ve really done it without quitting and on a schedule.

I don’t know if you guys really read everything (or like everything). I know part of the social media is that you follow to be followed, but I’d like to think you enjoyed something in my writing to want to follow me to begin with.

Whatever the case, I want to say thank you. I reached one hundred followers last Friday, and it was a big deal for me. I know everyone else does this huge crazy thing for reaching a thousand or a million. But one hundred is definitely good enough for me right now.

I was thinking I wouldn’t mention it, just let it pass by. But as I’m sitting here in a coffee high, I thought “why not?” Nothing wrong ever came from saying thank you.

So I wanted to say a big warm thank you. Thank you for following, reading, commenting, and liking. Thank you, thank you.

It’s definitely encouraging that I’m not sending things out to an empty void. (Not that it’s stopped me at all these past five years, obviously.) But it’s great.

It honestly hit me a few days ago how cool it is. One hundred people know who I am. And I haven’t met any of you!!

Pretty. Stinkin’. Awesome.

Oh yeah. I say “stinkin'” quite a bit. Is that weird?

I had originally said I would do something crazy when I hit one hundred followers, but now that I have… I don’t know. I guess I didn’t think ahead that far, maybe I was doubtful it would happen.

BUT IT’S COOL!

I’ll keep thinking of things I could possibly do. Maybe a VLog instead of a blog. That’d be different.

Whatever the case. Thank you very much for the encouragement!! Even if it just meant clicking the little FOLLOW button at the top of the screen.

I appreciate it very much, and as always, I will continue writing as best/funny/entertaining/informative/inspiring as I possibly can, all glory to God. Thanks guys!
